Bus Ticketing Inside the Mixx Tanzania App

The problem

Buying a bus ticket meant leaving the wallet app and paying somewhere else. The super app needed ticketing as a first-class service, using the balance the customer already had.

What I built

  1. Integrated the OTAPP third-party ticketing service behind the app's own API surface
  2. Built the booking flow end to end: route search, seat selection, and payment from the wallet balance
  3. Handled the failure cases a third-party dependency brings, so a timeout never leaves a customer charged without a seat
