Period

Region

Tanzania & Togo

60,000+agents served across Tanzania and Togo
600k+concurrent sessions without pool exhaustion
.NET 7 → 8migration across all microservices

The problem

At peak, 600k+ concurrent sessions were exhausting the Redis connection pool, putting the agent apps at risk of outages exactly when traffic mattered most.

What I built

  1. Led development of the enterprise telecom agent apps for Tanzania and Togo, managing a small engineering team
  2. Shipped the core telecom operations agents use daily: SIM registration, SIM swap, SIM stock management, agent inventory tracking, and airtime and bundle subscriptions
  3. Built Tanzania-specific onboarding, including Kinara registration, bulk registration, and enterprise B2B flows alongside B2C
  4. Implemented a Redis connection multiplexing strategy that eliminated connection pool exhaustion
  5. Automated the release pipeline with Docker and Jenkins, cutting deployment errors by 30%
  6. Migrated all microservices from .NET 7 to .NET 8
